Factors and practices: farmers' adaptation to climate change in Bangladesh

Abstract Climate literature is highly pronounced about the impending threat to agriculture taking into account climate change scenario and suggesting adaptation as a possible option opt for. Considering this, study seeks comprehend factors influencing farmers’ strategies cope with in coastal Bangladesh (Koyra Upazila, Khulna). In order achieve objectives descriptive, multivariate, binary logistic regressions were used analyze data. Findings demonstrate that most often crop, water, infrastructure management. Regression result shows such gender, labor family, farming experience, damaged sector are important determining how well adaption methods implemented. Binary regression analysis explains age (p = ≤0.041), income ≤0.037), farm size ≤0.005) significant deciding on new option.
